Product Intelligence - Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Product Intelligence AI chat tool ("the Tool") on rollingsquare.com collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with it.

What the Tool does

Product Intelligence is an AI-powered assistant that helps you find information about Rolling Square products, including specifications, compatibility, pricing, and use cases. It is not a human agent.

What we collect

When you use the Tool, we collect:

  • Chat messages you send and the AI responses generated
  • Anonymous session identifier (a random hash, not linked to your identity)
  • Product page context (which product page you were viewing)

What we do NOT collect

  • Your name, email address, or account information
  • Your IP address
  • Cookies or cross-site tracking data
  • Payment or billing information

How we use the data

Chat data is used solely to:

  • Provide real-time answers during your session
  • Analyze common questions to improve product information and AI accuracy
  • Identify gaps in our product documentation

We do not sell, share, or use chat data for advertising purposes.

Data storage and retention

Conversations are stored on Supabase (hosted in the EU/US) with encryption at rest and in transit. Session data is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. We retain chat logs for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes, after which they are deleted.

Third-party services

The Tool uses the following services to function:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) to generate responses. Messages are processed by Anthropic's API under their privacy policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.
  • Supabase for secure data storage.
  • Shopify Storefront API to retrieve product information.

Your choices

Use of the Tool is entirely optional. If you do not open the chat or send a message, no data is collected. You can close the chat at any time.

Do not share personal data

Please do not enter personal information (such as your full name, email, phone number, or address) into the chat. If you need order support, use our contact page instead.
