EDGE® Mount is the basic component of the ecosystem, where you can attach your phone, your EDGE® Wireless Charger, or your EDGE® Light. 🤔 QUESTIONS?

My phone isn't an iPhone 12 or newer, will it still work with this kit?

Yes. The kit includes a magnetic disc and a magnetic ring that you attach to your phone or its case, giving it the same magnetic connection as MagSafe. This works for iPhone 8 and above as well as any Android phone that supports wireless charging.

What exactly comes in the box?

The full kit includes the EDGE Mount (with a magnetic disc, a paper aligner, a spare nano suction layer, and a removal tool), the EDGE Wireless Charger (with a magnetic ring, a ring aligner, and a USB-C cable), and the EDGE Light (with its own USB-C cable). Everything ships in eco friendly packaging.

Will the mount damage my laptop lid or leave marks when I remove it?

No, it won't. The EDGE Mount uses a nano suction layer that grips firmly but peels off clean without residue, and a spare nano suction layer plus a removal tool are included in the box for whenever you need to replace it.

Can I use this with my phone case on, or do I need to take it off?

You can keep your case on. The magnetic disc or ring attaches directly to the case, and the product images show it working with a cased iPhone as well as a Samsung device.

How fast does the wireless charger actually charge my phone?

It outputs up to 15W, with 7.5W, 10W, or 15W depending on your phone, and takes input from 5V/2A, 9V/2A, or 12V/1.5A sources. It's fully compatible with MagSafe (iPhone 12 and above) and any Qi enabled Android device.

Do the charger and light attach straight to my laptop, or do I need the mount too?

They snap onto the EDGE Mount magnetically, so you'll want the mount attached to your laptop, tablet, or monitor first. Once it's in place, both the charger and the light click on and off it instantly.

How long does the EDGE Light stay on before I need to recharge it?

It runs on a 140mAh battery and puts out up to 280 lumens, with three brightness levels so you can stretch the runtime by dropping to a lower setting for video calls. It charges via the included USB-C to USB-C cable.

Is this made from cheap plastic, or will it hold up over time?

All three components are CNC machined aluminium, with N52 magnets in both the mount and the charger for a strong, lasting hold. This is solid metal construction, not molded plastic.

Is the mount thick or heavy enough to get in the way when it's not holding my phone?

Not really. It's only 4.5mm thick, about as thin as four stacked credit cards, and weighs just 34g, so it sits flush against your laptop or monitor when not in use.

What colors is this kit available in?

The full kit comes in Carrara White and Basalt Grey. The EDGE Mount on its own is also offered in a third color, Petra Red.
